Foreign nationals and Turkish Republic Citizens who have completed their high school education abroad and want to study at state universities in Turkey can apply with one or more of the following exams:

- YÖS (Foreign Student Exam) (see: YÖS Application and Preferences)
- TR-YÖS (conducted by ÖSYM)
- YÖS (conducted by Universities)
- INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED EXAMS
- ACT (American College Test)
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
- RESULT OF THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM TAKEN IN THE CANDIDATE'S OWN COUNTRY
- Such as Kazakhstan ENT/UBT, Kyrgyzstan ORT, etc.
- CANDIDATE'S HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
The exams and score types required for registration in undergraduate and graduate programs at state universities in Turkey may vary. First and foremost, the equivalence of the high school you completed abroad (see: Enrollment and Equivalence) should be checked, and the processes should be meticulously planned.

1-B)Applications to Private Foundation Universities for Foreign Students
Acceptance of foreign students to private foundation universities is generally based only on the candidate's diploma grade in their country. 2-Graduate Applications in Turkey for International Students
Before applying to study for a master's degree in the Republic of Turkey, you need to know whether the university and department you graduated from abroad have equivalence in Turkey. (see: Enrollment and Equivalence)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FAQ
All state universities in Turkey admit students through the YÖS exam. Only some state universities admit students based on diplomas for certain departments if there are vacancies remaining after the YÖS exam.
Turkish citizens who have completed their entire high school education outside of Turkey can benefit from the opportunities available to foreign students.
Foreign students in Turkey can only avail themselves of the "TURKEY SCHOLARSHIPS" program.
Students who have been awarded the Turkey Scholarships program do not pay tuition fees to attend university. Other students studying at a state university pay tuition fees.
In Turkey, it is only possible to enter Medical, Dentistry, and Engineering departments by enrolling in private universities. State universities only accept students through the YÖS Exam.
